Recruiter Outreach
We spoke to (Thomas Alascio (opens in a new tab)) and a couple of other recruiting thought leaders in the space. We wanted to try and understand their workflow and see how AI can help them:
- Linkedin is recruiters operating system.
- Linkedin search and filtering capabilities are limited even with tools like sales navigator.
- A desire to be able to search for candidates through natural language (e.g. find me a software engineer with 5 years experience in python)
- Candidates are bored of receiving these bland messages that are sent as mass spam.
- Recruiters are looking for a way to personalize their messages at scale.
Chrome Extension
Before we started building an AI platform we were building a generalist chrome extension with 5000+ users. A common user profile was recruiter and head hunters:
- They would search for candidates on Linkedin.
- They would then copy and paste the candidates name and company into a google sheet.
- They would use our read screen feature to create personalized emails.
There actually does not exist many tools to serve recruiters in a very seamless manner because Microsoft shut down Linkedin API access limiting developer access to building these recruiting and head hunting tools.
Enterprise AI
Our platform now offers the ability to have customized workflows. We are building a workflow made for recuriters:
- The ability to search for candidates through natural language.
- The ability to personalize messages at scale.
Recruiter Dream
As it turns out, a chrome extension is the perfect interface for a recruiter due to integration difficulties with Linkedin. Here's a sneak peek into how we envision the chrome extension to work:
- A simple text box to describe the candidates you are looking for in natural language and instructions for the emails to draft.
- Mano brings a list of filtered candidates similar to the screenshot on the top of this screen.
- Select the candidates you like as if you were shopping on Amazon.
- A personalized message has been drafted for each candidate.
- You can review each message and make modifications and a simple send button is available for you.
